Stormy Port Cocktail Recipe
Big weather, bigger drink. The Stormy Port is dark, spiced and made for a cold night in. Port and spiced rum bring the depth, a splash of soda keeps it easy to drink. This one makes two, so pour one for a mate.
Ingredients
- Port - 2 oz (2 Squeezes)
- Spiced Rum - 4 oz (4 Squeezes)
- Sugar Syrup - 1 oz (1 Squeeze)
- Soda Water - to top
Method
- Add the port, spiced rum and sugar syrup to a shaker with ice.
- Shake hard until cold.
- Strain into glasses over fresh ice.
- Top with soda water and serve.
Squeeze Tip
Shake the spirits hard with plenty of ice, then top with soda over fresh ice at the end. Never shake the soda in, or you flatten the fizz before it reaches the glass.
